If you can sit thru some of the most disturbing scenes ever filmed, you will be rewarded by some of the funniest. A must-see for John Waters fans, although after seeing this movie umpteen times, I peaceful fast-forward past the chicken sex scene and the mom-fellates-son scene - they are calm too defective for me to examine! The highlights include Edith Massey, who spends the entire movie in a playpen wearing dirty underwear and obsessing about eggs; Divine’s novel design of keeping her dinner steak warm; and the pepperoni-enhanced flasher. If you’re the easily-offended type, don’t ever seek it. If you like sick humor and are a Waters fan, you must have this in your collection.
This film is hilarious! It’s so beneficial! Judging by some of the uncouth reviews this movie has received, it’s delicate determined that these people have no sense of humour and probably grew up in the Bible Belt of America living under rocks with no clue of anything spirited creativity.

People, this movie is SUPPOSED TO BE Corrupt, IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE DISGUSTING, IT DELIBERATELY HAS Unpleasant ACTING…all these things develop this movie so captivating. The main character is a transvestite, her son has a chicken sex fetish, the mother is obsessed with eating eggs and lives in a play pen, the villains have red and blue hair and sustain girls impregnated by their chauffeur locked in the basement…how could it catch any better??
I laugh harder everytime I peer this movie and I’m clear anyone with a sense of humour will strongly agree and earn it equally as humorous!

Stream Gestapo: Hitler’s Secret Police Movie Online

Interesting to say the least. The documentary on the Gestapo was informative to a tee. The only fault I found was that some emphasis could have been placed on the more dubious characters that made up the Secret Place Police such as Klaus Barbie ( The Buthcher of Lyon) etc.. Otherwise well worth it. A must have for those who are involved in the goings on in the Third Reich.
This documentary is that : a documentary, so you should question a lot of pre-war and war news reels and you do pick up them. One hour of them, actually. There is an acceptable commentary running the whole length of the film that tries to clarify the who’s who of the Gestapo. You will explore many of the news reel that you have seen elsewhere, assuming you have at least a modicum of interest for that era.

The disturbing element is always the same: the behind disappearance of any deference to the rule of law. It ends up with not even a lip service to due process. No need to even rig a trial, it would be a end of time and the Fuhrer does not like to ruin time. The turning point is probably the Rohm purge: slay first then legalize the killing the day after.
The commentator does originate an pains to point to the how and when of this progression but the tiny time available (1 hour) keep this goal a bit out of come.
Buy,Download, Or Stream Gestapo: Hitler’s Secret Police! Click Here
Commendably, the movie does a estimable overview of the Gestapo at work in most occupied territories, something I had not seen before.
The movie is also an marvelous memory exerciser that will give a new layer on many fading memories of those archetypal villains. Yet, we examine them usually beaming and the horrifying acts they committed are rarely documented with news reels, apart from very slow shots on the concentration camps made by Allied reporters.
Still, it is worth to be seen.

DVDs not packaged in their unusual boxes as depicted but, instead, in flimsy, tattered paper jackets in one box (with Asian printing) . Most DVDs were unplayable or while being played, stopped, skipped or ended abruptly, and were incorrectly labeled. I absorb this product to be pirated material. I did receive a prompt refund from this seller with a notice of apology but it looks as though this seller continues to sell this pirated product providing a disclaimer now relating to the packaging.
This indicate is so gigantic. I stopped watching tv for awhile, but I had some downtime and decided to turn on the attractive describe box. I stumbled across re-runs of this reveal on USA and got twisted. All the dvds arrived in pristine order and are modern dvds produced by Paramount. If you’re not buying from AMAZON, then maybe you might accumulate a bootleg. I would definitely recommend this tv series for hours of serious entertainment.

Streaming Max Fleischer’s Color Classics: Somewhere in Dreamland Online

Compare Prices on Max Fleischer’s Color Classics: Somewhere in Dreamland
Republic Entertainment should be indicted for cultural crimes since they refuse to release first-generation prints of Max and Dave Fleischer’s “Color Classics” series. As a result of this neglect, VCI and Kit Parker Films have compiled “Somewhere in Dreamland” - a pretty collection of public-domain Fleischer cartoons from 1934 to 1941. Most of the “Color Classics” are represented in this two-DVD plot, with the print quality ranging from generous to unpleasant. The series contains several Fleischer gems, including Betty Boop’s “Abominable Cinderella” (1934), “The Kids in the Shoe” (1935), “The Cobweb Hotel” (1936), “All’s Shapely at the Blooming” (1938) and “Ants in the Plants” (1940) . Though influenced by the success of Disney’s “Comical Symphonies,” the Fleischer spirit is evident in many “Color Classics,” particularly the lesser-known entries such as “Chicken Ala King” (1936), “A Car-Tune Portrait” (1936) and “Have It!” (1937) . The DVD status also features two Oscar-nominated shorts, “Educated Fish” (1937) and “Hunky and Spunky” (1938), which are appetizing but do not portray the Fleischers’ best work. Until Republic gets its act together, “Somewhere in Dreamland” will remain the definitive “Color Classics” collection and is highly recommended to aficionados of vintage animation.
This collection represents a quest to track down every one of the 36 Fleischer Studios `Color Classics’ cartoon series. There are 35 of them on these two disks. One of the `Color Classics’, “Time For Appreciate” has only survived in a single gloomy and white print found in Europe (this was seven years ago and a color version has since turned up) . The only `Color Classics’ cartoon not included is “Tears Of An Onion” which is explained as not being here because “it is under copyright and therefore not in `public domain’” This explains a lot because obviously Jerry Beck and company are on a budget. Despite the dreadful condition of some of the prints included here, there are two processes that I know of that are frail to transfer film to video and/or digital; one is a frame-by-frame reader that takes the image directly off of the film for maximum clarity and color but it is a boring process and is costly. Eye at the honorable Disney collection of `Silly Symphonies’ if you want to examine how it should be done. The second process which seems to be outmoded by all other DVD/VHS collections of cartoons I’ve seen, including this one, is projecting the film onto a reader veil that will inevitably shave a minute off the top, bottom and sides of the image and loses some image and color integrity. The result is one we cartoon affectionados are becoming ragged to in VHS and DVD collections, kinda shaded and kinda fuzzy and it makes you wish you could have been there at the theater at the time. But for now this is all we’re going to come by. I’ve watched this one several times now anyway though.

Buy Dancing Outlaw DVD

Dancing Outlaw is a classic documentary of a tap dancer and Elvis impersonator from Boone County, West Virginia. The documentary is both silly and dismal but it gives a peek of life that you probably would not absorb unless you saw it. I’ve first saw a dubbed version of this video several years ago that was of rather terrible quality. I recently found “Dancing Outlaw” as well as “Dancing Outlaw II, Jesco Goes To Hollywood” both on a single DVD. The DVD is available for $49.95 on www.dancingoutlaw.com. I purchased the DVD and have now viewed the recently released DVD and it is of distinguished better quality that the VHS tape and offers all the advantages of DVD including the viewing quality not diminishing with utilize and time.
Buy,Download, Or Stream Dancing Outlaw DVD! Click Here
What Amazon does not insist you in the above description is this DVD includes both “Dancing Outlaw” and “Dancing Outlaw II: Jesco Goes to Hollywood” and the video viewing time is 101 minutes. Unruffled $99 is too worthy to pay when you can collect the identical video directly from the producer for 1/2 the tag.
I maintain a copy and I highly recommend it.
The Dancing Outlaw is a spacious video documentary which goes through the quotidian routine of a very abnormal man–Jesco White. He has coined himself the “last mountain dancer” and does a effect of tap dancing space to old-timey country music (mainly, The Wildwood Flower.) Where the video is so lively is in its portrayal of his positive mental illness(es) including his split personality syndrome (Jesco/Jesse/Elvis,) his dysfunctional and somewhat abusive relationship with his wife Norma, and his brain hurt from huffing too considerable lighter fluid in his petrified youth. You’ll sight what he does for fun (mud bogging, etc) and basically inspect all the areas of this man’s life. Even with the positive humor, it is presented in a very artistic fashion, leaving an bright viewer to seek information from how someone from dirt dreadful roots with this level of mental illness could smooth exist in this day and age. Yet even more puzzling is that he seems very gratified with what most people would deem a pathetic life.
Buy,Download, Or Stream Dancing Outlaw DVD! Click Here
However, most people with whom I’ve seen the documentary totally miss the social commentary and treat it as a comedy. “Ha ha see at those uninteresting hillbillies” and “wow West Virginia must be a really irregular spot” kinds of reactions. If that’s all you prefer from the documentary, you’re the unsophisticated one. Do not design mountainous generalizations about the people of Appalachia or of working-class and rural populations based on the film.

Why the fuss about mindless humor? Exactly what is faulty with that? There are plenty of us who after a long stressful day want to sit in an air conditioned movie theater and be mindlessly entertained with stuff we really don’t have to reflect about. Joe Dirt gives this type of entertainment. Don’t acquire me bad, I have nothing against movies that one has to be exciting minded to “win”, but once in a while it’s nice not to have to judge so distinguished. I would recommend Joe Dirt to anyone who is seeking that kind of entertainment. Incidentally, I usually disapprove David Spade, but I could barely protest that was him underneath the mullet. I can’t wait to acquire it on DVD.
Yes, the humor is comic and often intentionally slow, but I can’t assist but admire it. If it’s more cerebral or subtle humor that you want, you will not catch it here (beyond the valid mantra: “life is a garden, dig it,” that is) . The Joe Dirt experience is all about honorable laughs from comic jokes, wacky characters and ridiculous situations. Highly recommended for those who like 70’s rock, nostalgic hair styles, and anyone who pulls for the underdog. Joe Dirt will give you that, and some gutbusting laughter to boot.

I notorious that this is the only Bond film of the entire series that, to date, has not received a single 1-star review here on Amazon. That’s fair dang top-notch!

Director Terrence Young had introduced us to Bond in DR. NO and FROM RUSSIA WITH Appreciate. Guy Hamilton then took us down the GOLDFINGER road, and while his attention to action made that the first Rupture Bond film, he also seemed to lose alot of the more down-to-earth flavor that made the first two Bonds so great better.
But, Terrence Young returned for his final Bond film, and somehow managed to provide the perfect mesh of the realistic Bond from the first two films, and the more action-oriented Bond of GOLDFINGER. The result is a very overjoyed marriage indeed - it’s impartial too dreadful there were very few legitimate children born of it!

THUNDERBALL contains all the stout locales, villains, and Bond coolness that we treasure, without getting into the ridiculous, gadget-filled territory of the later films. It introduces us to our first moral Bond femme fatale, and also gives us the first really arresting Bond girl in Claudine Auger’s Domino character.
The music in the movie by John Barry is very nice, high-lighting the slower paddle of distinguished of the film. This movie is longer than the previous three by almost 20 minutes, and it is a nice extra cushion to really execute the tension. In fact, Bond is largely absent from the first 45 minutes of the movie, and we finally study more of the villians plans - what they are and how they are being accomplished - in almost meticulous detail. Somehow, this makes the threat more exact. Speaking of the threat, the spot being about terrorists stealing nukes and demanding ransom to prevent blowing up an undesignated city, is as unusual as today’s headlines!
The only right gripe that can be levied at the film is that Connery does indeed seem a diminutive less keen in the role than he had been. I reflect he’s mild mostly on track here, but he’s missing the total devotion that he showed in the first three films.
That aside, THUNDERBALL is simply the best Bond - offering everything that makes Bond broad, and eliminating all the over-the-top sillieness that made the later films so excruciating to sit through!
THUNDERBALL (1965) the fourth of the James Bond 007 series is among the best of the films. As a follow-up to the phenomenally successful and definitive GOLDFINGER, THUNDERBALL is fair a shade less satisfying. In terms of tone and composition the two films are of an era in the James Bond mythology.

Sean Connery returns as the inimitable British Secret Agent, this time place against SPECTRE Agent Number Two, Largo (Adolfo Celi) . SPECTRE has stolen an atomic bomb and is holding the world hostage.
Largo is a profitable adversary. Strongly-built, silver-haired, wearing an eyepatch, and more physically intimidating than Gert Frobe’s stout Goldfinger, Celi’s Largo lacks the faintly tongue-in-cheek air which involving Goldfinger’s behavior. In fact, the entire film lacks the decidedly amusing undertone of GOLDFINGER. The villains are more vicious, and Connery’s Bond, his wit more honed than ever, is playing for keeps.
The theme song (with Tom Jones singing), residence and fable are at least on a par with the predecessor film; however, the action, based in the Caribbean, takes status largely around, and under, water, and the film drags deplorably during most of the underwater sequences despite the fact that one of these is the climactic fight scene. The change in tempo between land and undersea action is jarring and detracts from the movie in a manner that its innate excellence in other respects cannot compensate.
Buy,Download, Or Stream Thunderball! Click Here
Of course, Bond successfully seduces objective about every woman on the state (except for Miss Moneypenny, the Penelope of the series) . While he is able to bag an ally in Domino (Claudine Auger), he is less successful with others, though as he admits, after all, it is “all for King and Country.” What a sense of selfless sacrifice the man has!
THUNDERBALL was later remade as NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN in which Connery, serene tidy, fit, and feisty (but with toupee) returned to the James Bond role after more than a decade’s hiatus. The remake is vast to perceive as a counterpoint to the novel.
While THUNDERBALL is not as worthy fun as GOLDFINGER, if all subsequent Bond films could have been as top-notch as THUNDERBALL, even Timothy Dalton would have been a tolerable 007. Let’s give this one FOUR AND A HALF STARS.

I checked this DVD out from the library to spy if my son would like it. He is mesmerized. He usually doesn’t like Sesame Street videos that aren’t clean heavy on Elmo, but he loves this one. It is all about math in sports (counting, shapes, sizes, etc.) . It stars Bert and Ernie and has appearances by Elmo, Prairie Dawn, Grover, Zoe, and Murray. It even has bonus features of 3 Bert and Ernie’s Gigantic Adventures clips, and Elmo playing football with the Jets. We will have to grasp this one!
This is a stout DVD. My husband and I admire this as well. We gain ourselves popping this in the DVD player over my son’s other Sesame Street DVD’s. My son will only contemplate TV if one of us is watching with him so can throw in our two cents as well. You can’t go deplorable with this one!

Everyone who has ever taken high school English classes will no doubt be familiar with Harper Lee’s time honored account. As is mentioned in the accompanying DVD, Fearfull Symmetry, it is second only to the Bible in the hearts and minds of U.S. readers. This is probably also the most often-shown film in said classrooms. No need to reshash the story-line, then.
This DVD location offers an obedient transfer of the notorious sunless and white cinematography of the prolific Russel Harlan. It’s a exact treat to hear from so many of the people who were fervent in the production, from the producer, Alan J. Pakula, to the now grown actors who played Scout and Jim. The audience gains big insights into what made this film so special, not only to the legions of its admiring fans, but to everyone enthusiastic in creating it. We learn the scenes that Horton Foote, the screenwriter added from the book to near character development (the scene showing Atticus putting Scout to bed and her questioning Jim about their mother as Atticus overhears them from the porch, was not in the book, for instance) . We rep to hear from Elmer Bernstein talk about the genesis of his unforgettable soundtrack. Due credit is also given to Stephen Frankfurt, for his highly creative and new title perform, which sets the tone so beatifully for the rest of the film.
There is no ask that this is director Robert Mulligan’s greatest film, nor that in his portrayal of Atticus Finch, Gregory Peck found the role most perfectly noble to his character and rock-solid persona. This is a film about integrity, essentially, and there is not a erroneous moment in the film. This compilation should be included in any film collector’s library. I hope it continues to be shown in English classes until time immemorial. It’s message and its relevance to the human condition will never go out of style, one hopes. Major Praise to Universal Studios and to all those alive to in assembling this perfect DVD special edition.

Like so many teachers, I’ve ancient the VHS version of “To Waste A Mockingbird” to bellow the Elements of Literature to high school students.
Today, the internet has a wealth of resources to help teachers and students using this classic adaptation of Harper Lee’s new. The documentary, “Stupefied Symmetry” produced in 1998 to be included on this DVD Collector’s Edition, is tall resource for teachers, students and all those who care for and have been touched by “Mockingbird.”
The 130 petite documentary, written and directed Charles Kiselyak, both discusses how the film was made and it’s general literary elements. The film is one of the most effectively edited documentaries I have seen, linking key scenes from “Mockingbird” with talking heads, unexcited photos and murky and white film taken in various localities across the south.
Buy,Download, Or Stream To Kill a Mockingbird! Click Here
The documentary narration, written by Charles Kiselyak and read with mammoth emotion by Mary Williams, is literary and quite sophisticated.
The talking heads include: screenwriter Horton Foote, director Robert Mulligan, producer Allan J. Pakula and composer Elmer Bernstein. Members of the cast appearing in the film: Gregory Peck (Atticus Finch), Phillip Alford (Jem), Mary Badham (Scout), Collin Wilcox (Maybella Ewell), Brock Peters (Tom Robinson) and Robert Duvall (Boo Radley) .
Director Charles Kiselyak with the benefit of Harper Lee was able to score three residents to discuss their lives in Monroeville, Alabama. A.B. Blass and Norman Barnett capture life in the microscopic town during the depression, and Ida Gaillard, a retired high school teacher, brings an involving perspective to what life was (may have been) like in the town Harper Lee outmoded as the model for Maycomb.
The literary and social significance of the “Mockingbird” are discussed by murky attorney, Cleophis Thomas, Jr., and Claudia Durst Johnson, author of “Threatening Boundries.”
In the DVD’s printed supplement, Charles Kiselyak indicates that while Harper Lee was not willing to appear in the documentary, she was very worthy in the production. She was thrilled with the director’s opinion to initiate the documentary with the first verse one of her common poems, William Blake’s, “Tyger:”
Tyger, Tyger burning vivid, In the forests of the night; What infamous hand or notice, Could frame they scared symmetry,
Kiselyak’s film discusses Lee’s new as both a method of life and a passage from innocence into experience and then relieve toward innocence — “Troubled Symmetry.”
“Mockingbird” and it’s DVD documentary will touch your soul.
